Our company was founded by Simon Piluski, a licensed solar electrician and multi-generation Vermonter. With over 25 years of experience in the solar electrical and mechanical trade, he has become one of Vermont’s key experts in the solar field, and leads our team of experts in designing, installing and servicing ground mounted and rooftop solar systems from large commercial to small residential sites. Simon and the Southern Vermont Solar team give you the personal attention you are looking for as you go through the process of going solar.

• We guarantee our outstanding work and equipment: We offer our customers a 12 year workmanship warranty, and use only premium materials and equipment from the most reputable manufacturers with solid long term warranties.  If a warranty claim is necessary, we will work with our manufacturers to provide a solution and remedy within an acceptable time frame, limiting the down-time and loss of production.

• Our electrical work is professional, clean, and exceeds all safety standards, NEC requirements, and local/state regulations. Our customers are always impressed by our electrical work. Solar electricity is Simon’s passion, and it will show up in your project, whether it is a residential installation or a 500 kilowatt commercial project. You may be surprised to learn that in Vermont MANY solar installers are not licensed electricians. We safely and efficiently design, install, integrate, and upgrade electrical systems following local and national code.

• We do NOT sub-contract: We use our qualified and long term trusted employees who are experts at roof and ground mounted systems to install your solar.

• Our team does not work on commission—NO HARD SALES, JUST FAIR PRICING & TRUSTED ADVICE Get authentic, education-based advice without high pressure sales. We are your ally and will help you make a good decision.

• All Installation waste is recycled or repurposed: We keep waste to a minimum and out of the landfill, and your site will be left safe and clean.
